By placing an order, Customers declare that they possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
Where a purchase is made on behalf of a minor, the parent or legal guardian assumes responsibility for the transaction.
Plume Nova reserves the right to refuse or cancel transactions where eligibility requirements are not satisfied, subject to applicable law.
Article 3 — Acceptance of Terms
Accessing or using the Website constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Before completing a purchase, Customers may be required to acknowledge their acceptance of the Terms.
Plume Nova may revise these Terms periodically. Updated provisions will be published on the Website with their effective date.
Changes shall not retrospectively alter confirmed orders unless agreed by the parties or required by law.
Article 4 — Product Information and Craftsmanship
Plume Nova products may incorporate traditional and contemporary craftsmanship, including:
- Hand embroidery, including Aari and Zardozi techniques.
- Hand painting, including Kalamkari-inspired and traditional Kalamkari techniques where specifically indicated.
- Handcrafted embellishments, beading, sequins, and appliqué.

Product descriptions will identify relevant materials and techniques where reasonably applicable.
Due to the handmade nature of certain products, minor differences in embroidery, pattern placement, color, texture, and dimensions may occur.
Such variations are intrinsic to handcrafted production and do not automatically constitute manufacturing defects, provided the Product remains consistent with its material description and agreed specifications.
Article 5 — Product Images and Representation
Plume Nova endeavors to display its products accurately through photography, illustrations, descriptions, and digital representations.
However, color variations may occur because of screen settings, lighting, photography, and natural material characteristics.
Where products are handcrafted or naturally dyed, slight variations between the displayed image and delivered item may occur.
Plume Nova shall not be responsible for immaterial visual differences that do not affect the Product’s essential characteristics, functionality, or agreed specifications.
Nothing in this Article limits a Customer’s statutory rights concerning inaccurate descriptions or non-conforming goods.
Article 6 — Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Plume Nova reserves the right to discontinue products, modify collections, restrict quantities, or remove listings without prior notice.
In the event that an ordered product becomes unavailable after payment, Plume Nova will notify the Customer and offer an applicable refund or mutually agreed alternative.
No substitute product will be dispatched without the Customer’s consent where the substitution materially changes the order.
Article 7 — Pricing and Currency
Product prices shall be displayed in the applicable currency on the Website or corresponding invoice.
Prices may vary depending on geographical market, applicable taxes, duties, distribution arrangements, or currency conversions.
Plume Nova reserves the right to revise prices at any time.
However, confirmed orders shall remain subject to the price accepted at checkout, except in circumstances involving manifest pricing errors or legal requirements.
Applicable delivery charges and taxes will be disclosed before final confirmation where they can reasonably be calculated.
Article 8 — Taxes, Customs Duties, and Import Charges
For domestic Indian orders, applicable taxes shall be charged in accordance with Indian law.
For international orders, customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, brokerage charges, local levies, and similar governmental assessments may apply.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, such charges shall be borne by the Customer.
Where Plume Nova expressly offers a duty-paid or Delivered Duty Paid arrangement, its obligation shall extend only to import duties and taxes expressly included in the agreed quotation or checkout terms.
Any other charges not expressly included, such as storage penalties, additional local levies, customer-requested customs services, or charges resulting from inaccurate Customer information, shall remain the Customer’s responsibility to the extent permitted by law.
Article 9 — Placing An Order
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during checkout is accurate and complete.
An order request does not constitute acceptance by Plume Nova until the Company issues an order confirmation or otherwise expressly accepts the order.
Plume Nova reserves the right to decline orders for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud, product unavailability, payment failure, or inability to fulfill requested specifications.
Where payment has already been collected for an order that Plume Nova declines, an appropriate refund shall be processed.
Article 10 — Order Confirmation
Upon acceptance of an order, Plume Nova will provide confirmation through email or another agreed communication channel.
The confirmation may include the product description, quantity, pricing, delivery details, payment status, and applicable lead time.
Customers must promptly notify Plume Nova of any discrepancy in the confirmation.
Any requested change remains subject to feasibility, product status, and the bespoke-order restrictions contained in these Terms.
Article 11 — Payment Methods
Plume Nova may accept payments through authorized payment gateways, bank transfers, credit cards, debit cards, or other approved channels.
Payment methods available to Customers may differ by country or transaction.
All payments are subject to verification and authorization.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate payment details and ensuring sufficient funds are available.
Plume Nova does not accept responsibility for payment failures attributable to Customer banks, payment networks, or external payment providers, except where required by law.
Article 12 — Payment Terms for Bespoke and Special Orders
Bespoke and made-to-order products generally require a 50% advance payment, with the remaining 50% payable before shipment, unless a different arrangement is expressly agreed in writing.
Plume Nova may request full payment in advance for special materials, highly customized orders, or other cases specified in the quotation.
Production may commence only after receipt of the required advance and approval of the relevant specifications.
The Company shall not be obligated to dispatch completed Products until all outstanding payments have been received.
Article 13 — Bespoke Design Approval
All bespoke designs, material selections, measurements, artwork, colors, and other specifications must be reviewed and approved by the Customer before production proceeds.
Once a bespoke design has been approved and the required materials have been sourced, no design modifications, substitutions, or changes will be accepted as of right.
Any exceptional modification shall be entirely subject to Plume Nova’s written approval, technical feasibility, production status, and additional costs.
Plume Nova is not obligated to accept modifications that interfere with production, sourcing, craftsmanship, quality, or delivery commitments.
Article 14 — Bespoke Order Cancellation and Refunds
A bespoke order may be cancelled and its advance refunded only before any work or process associated with the order has commenced, subject to applicable law.
Once design work, technical development, sampling, material sourcing, procurement, cutting, manufacturing, or any other order-specific process has begun, the advance becomes non-refundable, except where mandatory law requires otherwise or where cancellation arises from a material breach by Plume Nova.
For clarity, commencement of the design process alone is sufficient to trigger the non-refundable condition.
Once the design has been approved and materials sourced, the order cannot be cancelled as of right.
Any exceptional cancellation or settlement arrangement must be approved in writing by Plume Nova.
Article 15 — Production and Lead Times
Production timelines are estimates based on the complexity of the Product, techniques involved, material availability, and order quantity.
Bespoke designs and handcrafted products may require additional production time.
Plume Nova will make reasonable efforts to meet communicated timelines.
However, delays may arise due to material sourcing, specialized craftsmanship, production interruptions, regulatory requirements, or circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
Where a material delay occurs, Plume Nova will communicate with the Customer and provide an updated estimated timeline where reasonably possible.
Mandatory rights concerning delayed delivery remain unaffected.
Article 16 — Domestic Shipping
Plume Nova offers shipping within India through authorized logistics providers.
Shipping charges, estimated timelines, and available services will be displayed at checkout or communicated before order confirmation.
Risk of loss or damage shall transfer in accordance with applicable law.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery addresses and contact details are accurate.
Article 17 — International Shipping
Plume Nova offers international delivery to eligible destinations, subject to courier availability, customs regulations, trade restrictions, and applicable law.
International delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination-country requirements.
Customers are responsible for supplying accurate shipping and customs information.
International orders may be subject to inspections, customs clearance procedures, and import restrictions.
Where a specific destination cannot be serviced, Plume Nova may cancel the affected order and issue an appropriate refund.
Article 18 — Courier and Packaging Arrangements
Plume Nova reserves the right to select or substitute packaging materials and courier partners where reasonably necessary.
Such substitutions may be made for reasons including availability, safety, shipping restrictions, cost, and protection of the merchandise.
Alternative packaging shall be reasonably appropriate for the Product and its transportation requirements.
Plume Nova is not required to use a particular courier unless this has been expressly agreed in writing.
Any courier substitution that materially changes an expressly purchased delivery service shall be communicated to the Customer and handled in accordance with applicable law.
Article 19 — Delivery Delays
Delivery may be delayed due to customs inspections, regulatory checks, courier disruptions, severe weather, public holidays, transportation restrictions, or other circumstances outside Plume Nova’s reasonable control.
Plume Nova shall not be responsible for delays directly attributable to inaccurate Customer information, refusal to complete required customs formalities, failure to pay applicable import charges, or unavailability to accept delivery.
This provision does not exclude responsibility for failures attributable to Plume Nova or override mandatory delivery obligations.
Article 20 — Failed Delivery and Undeliverable Shipments
Customers must provide accurate shipping information and reasonably cooperate with delivery attempts.
Where a shipment is returned because of an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, refusal to accept delivery, or unpaid Customer-responsible customs charges, additional shipping and handling costs may apply.
Any refund or reshipment will be determined after assessing recoverable goods, shipping expenses, order type, and applicable law.
Bespoke products remain subject to their separate cancellation and refund conditions.
Article 21 — Inspection upon Delivery
Customers are encouraged to inspect Products promptly upon receipt.
Any visible shipping damage, incorrect merchandise, missing items, or apparent defect should be reported to Plume Nova within 48–72 hours of delivery, preferably with photographic or video evidence.
Reports should include the order number, description of the concern, photographs of the Product, and images of the original packaging where relevant.
This reporting period is intended to facilitate timely investigation and courier claims. It does not extinguish any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.
Article 22 — Returns and Exchanges
Eligible ready-to-wear and non-bespoke Products may be requested for exchange or store credit within 10 calendar days of delivery.
Returned merchandise must ordinarily be unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and accompanied by original tags, accessories, and packaging where reasonably practicable.
Return eligibility is subject to inspection and verification.
Products showing damage caused by misuse, unauthorized alterations, improper care, or excessive handling may be refused for discretionary exchange or store credit.
This policy does not restrict legal remedies for defective, incorrect, or misdescribed Products.
Article 23 — Return Shipping Costs
For approved discretionary returns or exchanges within India, Plume Nova will bear the standard return shipping cost under the agreed return arrangement.
For discretionary international returns or exchanges, return shipping costs shall ordinarily be borne by the Customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Where a return is required because of a verified manufacturing defect, incorrect shipment, or other failure for which Plume Nova is legally responsible, Plume Nova will provide the applicable remedy, including legally required shipping reimbursement.
Unapproved express courier upgrades, supplementary insurance, additional customs charges, and unnecessary logistics expenses may be excluded from discretionary reimbursement.
Article 24 — Return Authorization and Supporting Evidence
Customers should contact Plume Nova before returning merchandise to obtain return instructions.
The Company may request photographic or video documentation showing the condition of the Product, packaging, labels, and reported issue.
Where a designated returns portal is available, Customers may be directed to submit supporting evidence through that portal.
Return authorization does not automatically constitute approval of a refund or store credit; final eligibility may depend on inspection.
Customers must use the authorized return destination and follow reasonable packing instructions.
Article 25 — Products Not Eligible for Discretionary Return
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following products are excluded from discretionary returns or exchanges:
- Bespoke and personalized merchandise.
- Products manufactured to Customer specifications.
- Products altered at the Customer’s request.
- Products clearly identified as final sale before purchase.
- Products damaged through misuse, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modification.
- Products subject to legitimate hygiene-related return restrictions, where permitted by applicable law.
The foregoing exclusions do not apply where mandatory law requires a remedy for defective, non-conforming, or incorrectly supplied goods.
Article 26 — Refunds
Where a monetary refund is approved or legally required, Plume Nova will ordinarily refund the amount through the original payment method, unless another arrangement is permitted by law and accepted by the Customer.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and banking institution.
For discretionary returns, the Company’s standard policy is exchange or store credit rather than a cash refund.
However, cash refunds will be provided where required by applicable law, including applicable remedies for defective or undelivered merchandise.
Original shipping costs, express upgrades, duties, and handling costs may be excluded from discretionary refunds where disclosed and legally permitted.
Article 27 — Store Credit
Store credit may be issued for approved eligible returns, exchanges, goodwill resolutions, or other circumstances expressly agreed by Plume Nova.
Store credit shall remain valid for 365 days from the date of issuance.
Store credit is non-transferable and cannot ordinarily be redeemed for cash, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Store credit may be used toward eligible future purchases from Plume Nova, subject to any territorial or channel restrictions disclosed at issuance.
Unused store credit expires after its stated validity period to the extent enforceable under applicable law.
Article 28 — Gift Cards
Plume Nova gift cards are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
Gift cards are valid only within the country in which they were purchased, unless Plume Nova expressly authorizes cross-border redemption.
Gift cards may be redeemed against eligible merchandise up to their available balance.
Gift cards cannot ordinarily be redeemed for cash and may not be used to purchase additional gift cards unless expressly permitted.
Lost, stolen, or unauthorized gift card use should be reported promptly.
All gift card conditions remain subject to mandatory consumer protection, gift card, and unclaimed property laws applicable in the issuing jurisdiction.
Article 29 — Defective or Incorrect Products
Where a Customer receives defective, damaged, or incorrect merchandise, Plume Nova will investigate the reported issue.
Customers may be requested to provide photographs, videos, order details, packaging evidence, and other reasonably necessary information.
Where the claim is validated, Plume Nova will offer a legally appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, exchange, refund, or another remedy accepted by the Customer where permitted.
Manufacturing defects shall be distinguished from disclosed handcrafted variations and damage resulting from improper use or care.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory statutory remedies.
Article 30 — Product Care and Maintenance
Customers must follow the care instructions supplied with each Product.
Certain luxury materials and handcrafted embellishments may require professional cleaning, specialist handling, controlled storage, or avoidance of moisture, heat, and excessive friction.
Plume Nova shall not be responsible for damage directly resulting from improper cleaning, negligent handling, unsuitable storage, or use contrary to clearly communicated care instructions.
Normal wear and tear is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect.
Article 31 — Alterations and Third-party Repairs
Any alteration, repair, cleaning treatment, or modification carried out by an unauthorized third party is undertaken at the Customer’s own risk.
Plume Nova shall not be responsible for damage caused by such interventions.
However, an unrelated manufacturing defect or a statutory claim shall not be automatically invalidated solely because a third party has handled or altered the Product.
Customers seeking alterations or repair assistance are encouraged to contact Plume Nova before proceeding.
Article 32 — Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights associated with Plume Nova, including original designs, illustrations, patterns, photographs, artwork, logos, trademarks, website content, marketing materials, and proprietary product development, belong to Plume Nova or their respective lawful rights holders.
No content may be reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited, or used to manufacture derivative merchandise without prior written authorization, except where permitted by law.
Purchase of a Product does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
Unauthorized commercial copying, counterfeiting, and misuse of Plume Nova’s protected creative work may result in legal action.
Article 33 — Bespoke Designs and Customer-supplied Materials
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, Plume Nova retains ownership of its original design concepts, production techniques, technical drawings, sampling methods, and independently developed intellectual property.
Customer-supplied designs, trademarks, artwork, or other materials remain the property of their respective rights holders.
Customers warrant that they possess sufficient rights or permissions to authorize the use of materials supplied for their orders.
Customer materials will be used for the purposes reasonably necessary to fulfill the agreed order.
Confidential or proprietary design information will be handled in accordance with any separate written confidentiality agreement and applicable law.
Article 34 — Website Use and Prohibited Activities
Customers agree not to:
- Use the Website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or payment systems.
- Introduce malicious software or disrupt Website operations.
- Reproduce protected content without authorization.
- Submit false or misleading transaction information.
- Misuse promotional offers or attempt fraudulent chargebacks.
Plume Nova may restrict access or suspend accounts where there are reasonable grounds to believe these Terms have been materially violated, subject to applicable law.
Article 35 — Customer Accounts and Information
Customers who create accounts are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Customers must provide accurate and current information.
Suspected unauthorized access should be reported promptly.
Plume Nova may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, investigate fraud, or comply with legal obligations.
Customer personal information shall be processed according to the applicable Privacy Policy.
Article 36 — Privacy and Data Protection
Plume Nova may collect and process Customer information necessary for order fulfillment, payments, delivery, customer support, legal compliance, and other purposes identified in its Privacy Policy.
Personal data shall be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Information may be shared with payment processors, delivery partners, technology providers, or regulatory authorities where necessary and lawful.
Customers may exercise applicable privacy rights through the contact details identified in Plume Nova’s Privacy Policy.
These Terms must be read alongside the separately published Privacy Policy.
Article 37 — Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Plume Nova shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the Website or purchase of Products where such losses are not legally recoverable.
The Company shall not be responsible for loss or damage caused solely by Customer misuse, inaccurate information, unauthorized alterations, or events beyond its reasonable control.
Nothing in this Article excludes or restricts liability for fraud, willful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Any limitation of liability must remain consistent with applicable consumer protection laws.
Article 38 — Force Majeure
Plume Nova shall not be responsible for failure or delay in performing its obligations to the extent directly caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, extreme weather, war, governmental restrictions, public health emergencies, labor disruptions, transportation shutdowns, and other extraordinary events.
The Company shall make reasonable efforts to notify affected Customers and mitigate the resulting disruption.
If a force majeure event prevents fulfillment for a prolonged period, either party may be entitled to terminate affected obligations and obtain applicable relief in accordance with law.
Article 39 — Third-party Services
The Website may incorporate third-party payment providers, logistics services, external links, communication platforms, and other integrations.
Such services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Plume Nova does not control independent third-party websites.
However, the use of third-party service providers does not relieve Plume Nova of responsibilities imposed on it by applicable law or expressly accepted contractual obligations.
Article 40 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory legal protections applicable to Customers in other jurisdictions.
Disputes shall, where legally permissible, be subject to the competent courts having jurisdiction in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
This jurisdiction provision does not prevent a consumer from bringing proceedings before a court, consumer commission, or other authority where mandatory law grants that right.
Plume Nova and the Customer may seek to resolve disputes amicably before commencing formal proceedings.

1. Bespoke and personalized merchandise.
2. Products manufactured to Customer specifications.
3. Products altered at the Customer’s request.
4. Products clearly identified as final sale before purchase.
5. Products damaged through misuse, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modification.
6. Products subject to legitimate hygiene-related return restrictions, where permitted by applicable law.
